Tchouaméni Set to Return Against Spain
France received a major boost ahead of the FIFA World Cup semifinal against Spain in Dallas with the availability of their star midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni. According to L'Équipe, the Real Madrid midfielder will start against Spain instead of Manu Koné in the middle of the pitch.
Tchouaméni is one of the key midfielders for Didier Deschamps with his tactical awareness and defensive reliability, along with Rabiot as his partner as a number 8. The player missed the pre-quarterfinals and quarterfinals due to the adductor injury sustained against Norway.
Manu Koné Expected to Make Way
He is replaced by Manu Koné in the midfield, and the player delivered convincing performances along with Rabiot against Paraguay and Morocco, however, Koné will be replaced by Tchouameni against Spain.
France Likely to Keep Rest of Starting XI Unchanged
No other changes are expected, although Bradley Barcola continues to push Désiré Doué for a place on the left wing.
