  • Tottenham are considering a move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as the Blues remain open to offers amid strong attacking depth.

Tottenham considering Nicolas Jackson move

Chelsea values Nicolas Jackson at £65 million, as both the club and player are open for a move this summer due to the presence of a number of strikers, including Emegha, Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Marc Guí, and new arrival Danny Welbeck from Brighton. Chelsea considered Joao Pedro untouchable when Barcelona approached them but is open to offers for several strikers, including Jackson.

De Zerbi hints more signings are coming

During a press brief in Australia in preseason camp, De Zerbi stated that their transfer window is ‘60 percent' complete; that means they are open to bringing more players in. In the case of Jackson, the club has yet to begin conversations with the player's entourage and Chelsea; however, their interest remains concrete.

Jackson's spell at Bayern Munich

Jackson spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich from Chelsea, but his chances were limited due to the presence of Harry Kane in the team. He contributed 8 goals in Bayern's Bundesliga campaign from 23 matches and 3 goals in 10 Champions League games. Before his loan spell in Germany, Jackson showed flashes of his quality in the Premier League but was also criticized for missing key chances in high-pressure matches.

What happens next in the transfer saga?

With Tottenham yet to open formal talks, the coming weeks are expected to determine whether their interest develops into a concrete offer.

Aston Villa is also monitoring the Senegalese striker, but no formal approach has been made.

Jackson is now with Chelsea’s preseason squad in Hong Kong, having joined up with his teammates after vacation following his World Cup campaign with Senegal.
