Manchester United Admire Tchouaméni

Manchester United are keen admirers of Aurélien Tchouaméni, but the Real Madrid midfielder is not expected to be on the move this summer. Although the Premier League club values his qualities and has shown interest, sources indicate that Tchouaméni is set to remain at the Bernabéu for the upcoming season, according to Ramón Álvarez de Mon.

Real Madrid's Stance on the Midfielder

Tchouaméni was the priority target for Manchester United to reinforce the midfielder following the departure of Casemiro at the end of the 2025-26 season as a free agent, despite the strong interest from the English club in the last few months. Real Madrid did not give them the green light to begin negotiations for the French player.

Player Has No Desire to Leave

From the player's perspective, there is no desire to push for a transfer. He is committed to respecting Real Madrid's stance and would only leave if the club opens the door to his departure, although Manchester United is ready to bid €100 million for the Frenchman.

United Turn to Alternative Targets

Manchester United have already missed out on their midfield targets, including Matheus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, and now Tchouameni; however, they reached an agreement in principle with Brazilian midfielder Ederson from Atalanta for a move to Old Trafford, but the medicals and official contract signing have yet to happen.

The Red Devils have Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott on their radar after missing out on their primary targets. The stance of Bournemouth is not to sell the midfielder this summer and extend his contract with a release clause for next summer, as per TalkSport.
