Fulham has reached an agreement to sign Real Madrid academy graduates Gonzalo García and César Palacios in a deal worth €50 million, according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic. Fulham appointed Álvaro Arbeloa, who was in charge of Real Madrid last season, as the head coach of the first team, and he is the driving force behind the deals to bring these two promising youngsters.
As per the report, Fulham has reached an agreement with Real Madrid for €50 million to sign both players from the Spanish capital to replace Raul Jimenez and Harry Wilson, who departed from the club this summer.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the deal for Gonzalo Garcia costs a €40m fixed fee plus €2 million in future add-ons, and Cesar Palacios costs a €10 million fixed fee. Real Madrid gains 30% of the future rights of both players.
