Arsenal is exploring the possibility of signing Vinícius Júnior from Real Madrid to strengthen the attack ahead of the 2026-27 season, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic. The contract of the player with the Spanish club is set to expire next summer, and contract talks with the club have not progressed from last year due to the salary demands of the player.
Even though Arsenal did not start active discussion with the player or team, the deal was approved by the hierarchy of Arsenal's sporting department and manager Mikel Arteta, who led the team to be Premier League champions last season.
